Kamaole I, AKA Charley Young Beach:

Charley Young is known as a family-friendly swimming beach.  There is lots and lots of sand, bits of nice shade, rarely seems crowded, and the slope of the sand into the water is gentle.  Perfect for boogie boarders, waders and swimmers of all ages!!  All the photos on this page are of Charley Young Beach.  Enjoy!










Ahhhh!!  Paradise!  Two chairs, lots of sunshine, the sound of the waves.  Nothing better to do than  close your eyes and listen to the Trade Winds softly blow, and the sound of the water lapping against the sand.  I know of nothing better. 














Look at this stretch of sand.  A broad stretch with  palm trees providing a touch of shade.  If you walk all the way to the end of Kamaole I, you reach the lava outcropping separating Kamaole I from Kamaole II.  Lots of great snorkeling there.
